Whilst the NFC NFL playoff game on Fox had American Idol goodness following the game, the AFC championship game had a small Idol treat just before the action, thanks to judge Steven Tyler.
The Aerosmith frontman sang the National Anthem just before the New England Patriots played the Baltimore Ravens in Foxborough, Mass. So how’d he do?

Even though some thought the Idol judge flubbed the lyrics, you could also argue that Tyler nailed it by sticking to his rock roots, screams and all!
Tyler, 63, showed his support for the Patriots by means of 1 of his signature scarves, which featured the team’s logo in red, white and blue sequins. Following the game, Tyler joined the Patriots although they celebrated their win.
