Why? Because the cool and oh-so-very carefully styled coifs of pop star Justin Bieber and actress Emma Watson turned out to be the most buzzed-about hairdos of 2011.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Biebs and the Harry Potter star had “the fastest-rising searches for celebrity haircuts on Google.”
That’s no surprise for 17-year-outdated Justin, whose renowned swish seemed to inspire—or at least draw comparisons to—the shaggy manes of Tom Brady and Ben Affleck this year.
And while Emma went by way of some increasing pains as her locks adjusted to its dramatic new length in 2011, the 21-year-outdated actress quickly worked it out and has been seriously rocking her adorable pixie cut all year prolonged.
